Terms & Conditions of Sales

Our guests will receive the warmest welcome. The owners are committed to personally greeting holidaymakers and providing all the necessary assistance to ensure a pleasant stay and help them discover the region.


DESIGNATION

The rental is for a suite comprising a large bedroom, a private living room, and a bathroom. Located at 52 Chemin du Plantier in Sarlat-la-Canéda (France), the rental is suitable for two people or a maximum of four people (family or friends, who are willing to share the same bathroom).


RENTAL DESCRIPTION

The suite occupies the entire first floor of a Périgord-style house. The bedroom and living room have been completely renovated and are air-conditioned.

  • Bedroom : 160x200 bed, two bedside tables, wardrobe with mirror, chest of drawers, armchair, luggage rack
  • Living room: sofa that converts into a comfortable 160x190 bed, armchair, 2 poufs, television, DVD player, round table, 2 chairs, books, games
  • Bathroom: rain shower with glass door, vanity unit, toilet, storage column
  • Outside: garden furniture, deck chairs, parasol
  • Free parking or garage available for bicycles and motorcycles
  • Free Wi-Fi.

Separate sleeping arrangements for 2 people
The room is equipped with a double bed and a small sitting area with a sofa bed. For bookings of 2 people, the double bed is made up by default.
If you would like to sleep in separate beds, please let us know when booking so that we can prepare the sofa bed before your arrival.
A A fee of €25 per stay will be charged for bed preparation and extra linen .


LENGTH OF STAY

The client signing the contract concluded for a fixed term shall under no circumstances be able to claim any right to remain on the premises.


ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Guests are welcomed on the scheduled day between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, or earlier depending on availability. In case of late or delayed arrival, guests must notify the owner. Departure must be before 10:00 AM on the scheduled day.


CONTRACT CONCLUSION

The reservation will become effective upon sending the client the voucher confirming the reservation and upon receipt by the owner of a deposit of 25% of the total amount of the stay. The deposit can be paid...

SETTLEMENT OF THE BALANCE

The balance is payable upon arrival at the owner's property by Visa or Mastercard credit card, PayPal, check, or cash. Any additional services or expenses not included in the contract will be payable to the owner at the end of your stay.


TOURIST TAX

The tourist tax is a local tax that the guest must pay to the property owner, who then remits it to the public treasury. In Sarlat, this tax amounts to €0.88 per person per night.


ABILITY

This contract is established for a specific number of people. If the number of clients exceeds this number, the owner is entitled to refuse the additional clients. This refusal cannot be considered in any way as a modification or a breach initiated by the owner, so that in the event of departures of a number of clients greater than those refused, no refund can be considered.


USE OF PREMISES

The client must respect the peaceful nature of the premises and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. The client agrees to return the suite in good condition and must report any damage for which they may be responsible and arrange for its repair. Meals may not be taken in the bedroom or living room. A security deposit of €150 may be required.


BREAKFAST

Breakfast is served between 8:00 and 9:00. A 15-minute grace period before or after this time frame is accepted.


TABLE D'HÔTES

We offer our guests a set menu featuring simple, home-style dishes. The price is:

  • €17.50 per person for a starter/main course or main course/dessert menu
  • €22.50 per person for a complete menu (drinks not included)


LINEN AND CLEANING SERVICES

Bed linen is provided (bed made upon arrival)

  • Bed linen (sheet, duvet cover, 4 pillowcases)
  • bathroom linen (2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 4 washcloths, 1 bath mat)

If the second person uses the bed in the living room, a supplement of €25 will be charged for washing and ironing the bedding.

Daily cleaning will be carried out only upon request for a rate of €25 per hour.


ANIMALS

For hygiene and allergy reasons, animals are not allowed.


SMOKERS

Smoking is strictly prohibited in the house. A space is available under the pergola.


INSURANCE

The client is responsible for all damages caused by their actions. They should therefore check if their primary residence insurance policy includes holiday rental coverage. The client confirms that they are covered by liability insurance that covers their own liability and that of any persons accompanying them.


HOME PROTECTION AND SECURITY

L'Olivianne is protected by a Verisure remote monitoring alarm system and two outdoor cameras. The property is fully fenced. Upon arrival, the client receives the gate remote control, which must be returned without fail upon departure. A €30 fee will be charged for any loss.


CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER

Any cancellation must be notified by letter or email addressed to the owner. The costs incurred are as follows:

  • Cancellation within 2 days of arrival: 80% of the total cost of the stay
  • No-show: 100% of the total cost of the stay
  • Shortened stay: 100% of the total cost of the stay.


CANCELLATION BY THE OWNER

Due to health problems at the owner's premises or in the event of non-compliance with health rules by the client, the owner may cancel the reservation without compensating the client.


IDENTIFY

To avoid any subsequent disputes, identification will be required upon arrival. In accordance with Article R. 611-42 of the CESEDA1, we are required to have foreign nationals complete and sign an individual police registration form upon arrival.
